Story Challenge 2021 Header

March is National Reading Month, and this year Education.com celebrated literacy in a big way. Not only did we share our best interactive stories, we also organized the Story Challenge!

From March 1-29, parents and teachers submitted stories their children or students had written. Submissions were divided into three grade bands: PK-1st, 2-3rd, and 4-5th grade students. They were judged on the following criteria:

  • Creativity: Think outside the box and write something that excites you!
  • Originality: Your writing should be your own ideas and words.
  • Organization: Your writing should follow a logical sequence.
  • Descriptive language: Your writing should include descriptive language and vocabulary about the topic.

Winners of this year’s Story Challenge will receive one year of Education.com Premium membership. Now, it’s time to share the winning stories!!
