Keep the learning going with Education.com’s Summer Challenge!
While school is out, it’s important to keep students’ minds engaged. That’s why we created this exciting challenge to make summer learning fun for students of all ages!
The Summer Challenge includes a list of 10 activities for learners to complete, ranging from creative recipes to science projects. Here are some tips for using the checklist to maximize learning:
Set goals as a family
Kids will be more excited about the Challenge if you talk about it together. As a family, discuss:
- When do you want to complete the Challenge? Setting a target date will keep your child motivated.
- How do you want to celebrate completing the Challenge? Deciding on a reward as a family will make it extra enticing. Some fun ideas are: a s’mores night, a trip to the beach, a new board game, or anything else that’s exciting to your family!
Track progress
The 10 activities can be completed in any order, so you can choose what works best for your family! Along the way, you can keep track of progress with the online checklist or the printable PDF. Collecting a new superhero for each activity is another fun incentive!
Celebrate success
When learners have completed all 10 activities, you can print out our certificate to celebrate. If you display it prominently in your home, it can be a great reminder of your special summer memories. Plus, don’t forget to enjoy the reward you decided on as a family!
Show off a little
We would love to see how you’re doing in our Summer Challenge! Snap a photo of your family completing one of the activities, and share it with us. Send your photo in a direct message through our Facebook page, and we’ll be spotlighting submissions throughout the summer! Bonus: a few select participants who share their photos will also receive a little Education.com surprise.
